The past few weeks have felt different. Not a dramatic meltdown, just the quiet kind of heaviness you don’t always notice until you really stop and think. I missed the rhythms of my days, the energy that comes from small wins, and perhaps the presence of moments that have disappeared…

I have leaned in to what I like to call the 3 R’s… Reset, Recharge, Repeat.

Reset: Hydrate

Mornings have begun with a tall glass of water – no coffee, no notifications, no email. It’s amazing how something so simple can clear your mind. I have noticed the glow, the refresh and the control I have gained. I have added re-added tea to my routine. Sometimes in the afternoon, most evenings before bed and it is quite literally perfect.

Recharge: Morning Exercise

I am religiously back into pilates. 5 days a week, hot sweat in the HB studio in Charlestown. I am able to focus at work – there is something about moving your body first thing that wakes your mind, too. Focus at work comes easier, energy last longer. It’s not just the fitness – it’s the momentum that carries you throughout the day.

Repeat: Reflection

Evenings are for reflection. I found my old college journal tucked away and couldn’t resist flipping through it – reading my younger self reminded me how much I once valued pause, thought and intention. Reflection, I’ve realized is underrated – it’s the pause that turns chaos into clarity. Because how can we move forward if we have never stop to see how far we’ve come.

Reset. Recharge. Repeat. Hydration to clear the mind, movement to wake the body and reflection to quiet it all down again. Renewal rarely needs a grand moment.

And with that… my tea is on my bedside table and it’s officially time for bed. Signing off – one business day at a time.
